ANNOUNCEMENTS

Procare, our new Communications Platform for Families

 

The Village Centers has partnered with Procare to implement a new Villager/Family Management System. The reason for this is:
 

  • To better organize and synchronize Villager Information between our several buildings and facilities.
     

  • For staff to more easily view, set, and adjust clock-in/out times for your Villager during Day Program care.
     

  • Introduce new methods for parents/guardians to communicate directly with their Villagers' instructors or care staff
     

  • For families to easily access and view new forms, sign-ups, alerts, calendars, and documents digitally.
     

  • For current families to easily re-register their villagers annually (as directed by state guidelines) without the need for unnecessary forms and repeat information.


The Village Centers will fully implement Procare by December 20th, and will no longer use Remind. Families and Villagers who have not signed up by that date may begin to miss important updates and
communication from us. 

We know that transitioning to a new app can be challenging, however we feel the features the
app provides to parents/guardians are well worth the setup. If you have any questions or

Phone Changes

We are pleased to announce that the day program now has centralized phone numbers for your convenience.  You may use these numbers to call us concerning absences, illness, changes to schedules or transportation.  If you leave a message, someone will promptly return your call, or get your message to the appropriate staff.  To best direct your call, please leave your name, phone number, your family members name and the nature of your call. 

 

The new direct phone number for the day program is: 346-340-4164 (3838 Plum Valley)

OR 346-340-4175 (3819 Plum Valley).

You may also call the main number for The Village at 281-358-6172 and select the "Day Services option or ext 1010.

We are hopeful that this new notification system will improve overall communication concerning your loved one.
